Our Recommendations
We recommend hanging the curtain rod at least 10 inches past the window on each side so that when they are open, the curtains cover the wall instead of the window. It is a great way to make the window look wider.
To create the illusion of larger windows and bigger space, we recommend hanging the curtains as tall as possible. Having the drapery just touch the floor (kiss floor) creates a clean look.
- Standard ceiling heights are 8ft (96in) and 9ft (108in)
